G652光纤喇曼增益谱的实验研究

摘    要:在分析光纤喇曼放大原理的基础上,搭建14XXnm双波长泵浦光纤喇曼放大器试验系统,测量了目前光通信主干网络上广泛使用的G652光纤的喇曼增益谱,分析了其3dB带宽、增益谱波长范围、增益平坦度.结果表明,相对于EDFA,G652光纤的喇曼增益谱平坦度好,平坦增益范围大.当用峰值波长1440nm的泵浦激光器抽运时,其3dB谱宽为34nm,位于1520-1554nm,当用峰值波长1450nm的泵浦激光器抽运时,其3dB谱宽为43nm,位于1520-1563nm,当用峰值波长1440nm和1450nm的泵浦激光器双向抽运时,其3dB谱宽为40nm,位于1520-1560nm.在自建的光孤子通信系统上进行的应用表明,利用分布式喇曼光纤放大,可以明显改善光孤子的传输特性.

Abstract:The gain spectra of the distributed Raman fiber amplification in G652 fiber pumped by 1 440 nm and 1 450 nm laser were measured on our experimental setup. The result illustrated that the gain flatness of G652 fiber Raman amplification is better than that of EDFA. Pumped by 1 440 nm laser,the 3dB gain bandwidth is 34nm which is from 1 520 to 1 554 nm Pumped by 1 450 nm laser,the 3dB gain bandwidth is 43nm which is from 1 520 to 1 563 nm Pumped by 1 440 nm and 1 450 nm laser,the3dB gain bandwidth is 40nm which is from 1 520 to 1 560 nm. The application on our optical soliton communication system illustrated that the transmission performance of optical soliton was improved obviously.
