| 摘 要： | 《关于完善人民陪审员制度的决定》已于2005年5月1日起施行，这是我国历史上第一部关于人民陪审员制度的单行法律，既是依法治国建设社会主义法治国家的必然要求，也是司法体制改革的一个新起点。《决定》的颁行，对于完善和改革我国审判制度将会产生重大而深远的影响。
