| 摘 要： | 视频点播(VOD)系统结合组播技术可以有效提高系统性能,实现大范围视频点播.本文论述了VOD系统中媒体流调度策略和VCR功能的实现方法,针对应用层组播环境,改进了媒体流调度策略,减少用户平均等待时间、缓冲区分块数和所需流数目,并提出组播VCR操作实现方法,减少VCR过程中所需流数目.

| Abstract: | Video-on-Demand(VOD) system using multicast technique can efficiently improve system performance and implement large scale VOD.This paper describes stream scheduling policies and implementations of VCR functionaliies in VOD system.Then depending on the application-layer multicast environment,an improved stream scheduling schemes is proposed to decrease hosts' waiting-time,necessary blocks in hosts' cash and streams.An approach of multicasting VCR is also proposed to decrease streams in VCR. |
