| Abstract: | The morphological structures of the pineals were compared in three species of mullets (family Mugilidae) using both light and electron microscopies. The pineals are mainly composed of photoreceptor cells; supportive cells and ganglion cells.The three species of mullets all have pineal windows. but without dorsal sac. |
