厦门海区浮游桡足类卵形态与孵化率的研究

在厦门海区,调查了19种常见的自由产卵的浮游桡足类卵型及其孵化率。发现卵有二种基本型:卵表光滑和具附属刺或鞘结构。卵的形态随种类而异,即使同种也常不同。卵径大小(D)似与产卵雌体大小呈正相关;而与海区水温(t)呈负相关,并可拟合为D=a·t~b。卵孵化率具有明显的季节变化,但和卵型的相关与否则依种的不同而异,这可能与种群不同的生态适应性有关。

Studies on the Feature of Eggs and its Hatching Rates of Some Planktonic Copcpods in Xiamen Waters

The feature of eggs and its hatching rate of 19 species of plank tonic copepods common in Xiamen waters were investigated. It was found that calanoid copepods often produce two kinds of eggs, one with smooth egg membrane, the other with ornamentation, such as spines or cases. Difference in egg feature is obvious between species, as well as between different laying season of the species. It was found that the egg diameter(D) showed a ten dency to relate positively to the body size of the egg laying females, and was correlated negatively with the field sea water temperature (t), being fitted by D=atb. Egg hatching rate Showed a significant seasonal variation, while its dependence on the egg feature varied with copepod species. It is suggested that this could be attributed to the different ecological adaptation of the populations.
