| Abstract: | By analyzing the network traffic and by studying the network congestion avoidance and control mechanisms, it is pointed out that network congestion is the reason that causes the blockage of the serial port on the dial up server. The methods of inhibiting the blockage and strategies to control and prevent further congestion are studied. |
