| Abstract: | The existence of BV solutions was discussed for a quasilinear hyperbolic equation with presure terms. We firstly considered its regularized problem. With the aid of a series of critical analysis and by a limit process, we obtained the existence and the uniform BV estimates of solutions for the regularized problem. The existence of BV solutions for the original problem was also obtained. |
