| 摘 要： | 根据一些著名语言学家有关“请求”言语行为与“礼貌策略”的理论，可将英语中“请求”言语行为和“礼貌策略”分为两类：直接表达方式和间接表达方式。男女在使用请求言语时存在差异，男性较多使用直接表达法；而女性常使用间接表达法，比男性更礼貌和委婉。

| Abstract: | Based on the theories of speech acts in request and the politeness strategies of some famous linguists, English speech acts in request and the politeness strategies can be further divided into two kinds: Direct expression and indirect one.There are differences between men and women in using requesting language. Men prefer direct expression while women indirect one which is more polite. |
