| Abstract: | Through the analysis on the site-type of the rocky barren mountains in Shanxi area, this paper puts forward five techniques that are suitable to the afforestation on the rocky barren mountains, including the water saving with proper tree species, water storing through the soil tillage, water carrying through protection of tree roots, water grasping in season,and water keeping in stock growing. |
