| Abstract: | Taking the developing history of the foreign and Chinese libraries as the threads, this paper discusses on the position and functions of the library in the cultural exchange from three aspects of that the library is the tool of human being's memory, the library is the base for preserving human being's heritages, and the library is the important institution for human being's cultural exchange and cultural construction. |
