According to the data retrieval results from Qingdao Library＇s local literatures website, this paper emphatically makes a statistical analysis on the data of Qingdao Library＇s local literatures in the period of 2006-2010, and points out that although the number of local literatures collected by Qingdao Library is increased sharply in recent years, the proportion of the literatures really associated with Qingdao＇ s local development is low, showing a downward trend year by year, and if only taking the literatures published by local publishers as the collection foundation, the construction of local literatures will gradually fall into passive situation with simplification tendency, and based on these, discusses some problems related to Qingdao Library＇s standard for local literatures＇ collection, diversified cooperation and construction, and the quality requirement for staffs, etc.
