| Abstract: | This paper expounds the influence of the social factors, family structures, physical demands, living habit variation, sci-tech progress, and ecological environment, etc. on the contents and arrangement of the planning and design of the residential district, and describes the variations of the contents and arrangement of the planning and design of the residential district, and points out that only establishing totally new scientific conception and grasping the developing direction of the urban residential district planning can create the comfortable, warm, safe and convenient residential environment. |
