| Abstract: | With the increasing of the amount of the urban sludge in sewage treatment plants, more and more attention to the sludge has been paid to heavy metals of the sludge disposal to avoid secondary pollution. This paper introduces the domestic and foreign technologies for removal of the heavy metals from the sewage sludge, and expounds in detail the mechanism of removal of the heavy metals from the sewage sludge by using the bioleaching process and the factors influencing the effect of the bioleaching process. |
