初踏宪政之路的张东荪与张君劢

从日本留学归来的张东荪和张君劢参加了辛亥革命后成立的南京政权。南京政权解体后,张东荪重新转入报业评说时政,张君劢则继续蹉跎于民国初年的政坛,两人在政治品格上的差异已初露端倪。虽然张东荪和张君劢都反对军阀专制、主张宪政,但是张东荪强调从思想自由入手建设宪政,张君劢则认为宪政制度建构才是宪政道路的核心,这使得他不得不一再向军阀专制妥协。历史已经证明,以自由主义为核心的宪政之路在中国是行不通的。

Zhang Dongsun and Zhang Junmai,after returning from Japan,participated in the Nanjing regime which was established after the 1911 Revolution.After its disorganization,Zhang Dongsun transferred back to newspaper industry to comment current politics,while Zhang Junmai continued to waste time on polity of the early Republic of China.The difference between them in political character had just been ushered.Although they both fought against warlord despotism and advocated constitutional polity,Zhang Dongsun stressed the need to construct it on the basis of freedom of thinking,while Zhang Junmai held the opinion that the construction of its system was the core of the constitutional polity,which explained the fact that he had no other choice but to come to compromise with warlords again and again.History has proved that: the constitutional polity with liberalism as its core is not feasible in China.
