| 摘 要： | 以历史悠久及技术高超而著称的钱塘江海塘,是我国古代伟大工程之一。该海塘首先是由何人创建及建于何时何地,这是中国海塘史上的一个重要问题,也是有关的历史学家和地理学家经常争论的问题。本文用十种著名历史文献和古籍中的有关记载为依据,考证汉朝会稽郡议曹华信于公元9—36年间发起修筑于杭州的海塘,是现在己见记载的最早的钱塘江海塘。

| Abstract: | The Qiantang Estuary Seawall, renowned for its history and high technology, is one of the greatest ancient works in China. The issue when, where and by whom it was initiated has been under debate for generations. In this paper some testimonies collected from ten famous historical documents and ancient books are offered to prove that Hua Xin, a local official in Kuai Ji prefecture in the Han Dynasty, was the first who initiated the construction of the Qiantang Estuary Seawall during 9-36 A. D. |
