| Abstract: | In this a paper, an effective method is presented to analyse the twodimensional frame on a layered foundation. Taking advantage of.finite element method and analytical solution to find the unit displacement of the structure and the surface settlement of the layered foundation, the mixed method is used to compute the pressure between the structure and its foundation. The displacements and interior forces are determined by use of the superposition theory. |
