红山窑强风化砂岩试验特性

对红山窑水利枢纽工程中的强风化砂岩进行了室内物理力学性质测试和膨胀性能试验研究．结果表明，该工程中的强风化砂岩为低强度的膨胀岩，其强度变化、膨胀变形以及膨胀压力的发展对含水率有明显的依赖性．试验成果为该工程的设计、施工提供了科学依据．

Physical properties of highly weathered sandstone at Hongshanyao

Laboratory physical-mechanical property test and swelling performance study on the highly weathered sandstone in the Hongshanyao Hydraulic Project indicate that the sandstone is a special kind of low-strength swelling rock. Research also shows that the variation of the strength and swelling-induced deformation of the sandstone and the development of swelling pressure in the sandstone obviously depend on its water content. The experimental result provides a scientific basis for engineering design and construction.
