摘    要:研究了铝及铝合金的新型晶粒细化剂Al-Ti-C中间合金中TiC粒子的失效问题。当熔液在正常熔炼温度下,即低于1273K保温时,所得的合金失去了晶粒细化效果。实验发现,失效的中间合金在高于1523K温度下重熔,TiC核心可以再激活。透射电镜衍射分析表明,Al-Ti-C中间合金失效的原因是TiC粒子周围出现了Al4C3及Ti3AlC。其中Al4C3可能对TiC粒子的失效起决定作用。对再激活的核心粒子的研究表明,它们主要由TiC粒子构成。

Abstract:The present investigation has been made to study the " poisoning" effect of TiC particles in new developed Al-Ti-C master alloy as a grain refiner for aluminium and its alloys. As the melt was held at the normal melting temperature of below 1273 K,the resultant master alloy lost its grain refining efficiency. It has been found that a suPer heating treatment of the melt at higher temperatures (>1 523 K) rejuvenated the nucleate particles again. Electron diffraction of poisoned titanium carbide particles showed the presence of considerable amounts of Al4C3 and Ti3AlC, of which Al4C3should be responsible for the poisoning effect. The structural analysis of the rejuvenated carbide particles confirms that they are essentially constituted of uncontaminated TiC.
