双光子共振激发钠原子的参量过程

摘    要:用激光观光子共振激发的原子使4d2Dj态布居。自该态同时辐射两个光子回到基态,它们在钠蒸汽中传播时增强成为相干辐射,这过程称为参量过程.本文从实验上研究了参量过程谱线所包含的分量数目、各分量的波长和强度随激光波长、蒸汽温度的变化关系,并给出了基于原子极化、耦合波方程和位相匹配条件的理论分析。理论值和实验结果符合。

Abstract:Na 4d 2DJ state can be populated by two-photon excitation. It returns to ground state after emitting two photons which grow simultaneously to form coherent radiation lines in the vapor zone. This process is called optical parametric process. In this paper the components of the lines generated by parametric process, their wavelengths and intensities versus laser wavelength, oven temperature etc. are experimentally investigated. A theoretical analysis based on wave equation, atomic polarization, and phase-matched condition is also given. The theoretical values are found to be in agreement with the experimental results.
