串联电容补偿线路行波差动保护研究

摘    要:针对传统行波差动保护的缺陷,研究了串补线路的波过程,特别是初始行波的故障特征。结果发现:不论金属氧化物避雷器(MOV)是否导通,关键的行波波头信息均不受串联电容补偿的影响。提出了基于小波变换的、仅利用行波波头信息的行波差动保护。该保护能够适用于带串联电容补偿的输电线路,动作快速、可靠。EMTP(电磁暂态计算程序)仿真证明了所提保护的正确性。

Abstract:Traditional travelling wave differential protection can not be applied to series compensated transmission lines because of the voltage changes on the capacitor. This paper presents an analysis of analyzes the propagation of travelling wave on series compensated lines, especially studies the fault characteristics of the initinal wave. The results show that the key travelling wave fault information, the wave front information, is unaffected by the series capacitor bank for metal oxide varistors (MOV) as well as other capacitor types. Based on it, a new differential protection based on the wavelet transform has been proposed. The method uses only the wave front information, so it is suitable for series compensated lines. Electric magnetic transient calculation programm simulations demonstrate the validity of the protection method.
