| 摘 要： | 不同的语言在词的排列顺序上也各有不同。文章主要讨论了英语词序以及决定和影响英语词语排列顺序的原则。在笔者看来，决定英语词序的因素不同干影响词序的因素。对英语词序起决定作用的是英语语法规则，而对词序起一定影响作用的是强调原则、信息分布原则、“重量在后”原则、“有生命的事物在前”原则、避免歧义原则以及话语所在的语境。

| Abstract: | Different languages differ in word order. In this paper I will mainly discuss English word order as well as the principles which determine or influence constituent ordering. Factors determining word order are different from those influencing word order. The determinant of English word order is the grammatical principle, and the factors influential in word order are the emphasis principle, the information status, weight, animacy, ambiguity avoidance as well as context-effect. |
