Ecological Marxism have been born in the 1970s with a kind of ethos,which is the product that combine with the Western ecological movement and Marxism.In order to try to overcome the ecological crisis and in search of a road to socialism,Ecological Marxism devote Marxist views to analyze and interpret the ecology problem with the purpose of complementing,rebuilding and transcendence the Marxism.A great many analysts,including some self styled eco-socialists,are prepared to acknowledge that Marx had profound insights into the environmental problem,but nonetheless argue that these insights were marginal to his work,and that he did not leave a significant ecological legacy that carried forward into later socialist thought or that had any relation to the subsequent development of ecology.On the basis of reading foster＇s documentation,the writer think that it is necessary to interpret foster＇s thought of Karl Marx＇s ecological and build the ecological Marxism,which can instruct us how to treat and solve the ecological problems.
