| Abstract: | In this paper, the concepts of star element and star ideals of a semi-ring are introduced. We conclude that the set of all star ideals of a star semi-ring forms a complete distributive lattice with respect to the partial order of set inclusion and that the star ideal generated by a nonempty subset of a semi-ring is characterized. |
