| Abstract: | A new method for improving the consis tency of comparison matrix was prese nted,in which a pair of elements of the comparison matrix were modified,and a common consistency checking method was used.The CI valu e of the modified matrix is less than t hat of the original one;and the comvergence theorem for the a lgorithm is proved.The algorithm is simple and practical. |
