| 摘 要： | 《四库全书》的学术价值和社会影响早已为世公认，收藏其书的七阁也因书而名显，享有盛誉，成为城市文化地位的象征。然七阁为什么“江苏占其二”，又为什么不选择在江苏的中心城市如江宁或苏州，却选在一江之隔的镇江和扬州，其中的原因值得探讨。

| Abstract: | Academic value and social influence of ＂The Si Ku Quan Shu＂ have been universally accepted. The seven ancient libraries have been famous for collecting the books and enjoying great fame and have become a symbol of the city cultural status. The reasons why there are two of the seven ancient libraries in Jiangsu and the two are lo- cated in Zhenjiang and Yangzhou instead of in Jiangning or Suzhou are worth exploring. |
