| Abstract: | Localism has been in existence for a long time, and it was esxpecially popular in the period of Minguo. At that time, it brought about great trouble to the country and its people. Native China is the cultural cause of localism; the new political policy of the late Qing dynasty is its historical cause; the accumulation of capital is its economic cause. The appearance of localism at the period of Minguo is the result of these three factors. |
