| Abstract: | Hallidayg systemic functional grammar is used in this thesis. Combined with functional grammar, a sample test from TEM8 is analyzed from the perspective of context, transitivity, thematic structure and cohesion. It provides the TEM8 candidates with theoretical and practical guidance by showing the applicability of functional discourse analysis in reading comprehension, aiming at the cuhivation of students＇sensibility to the deep structure is aimed at. |
