| Abstract: | Pun is one important form of Chinese rhetoric .This article analyses its formation, characteristics, classification, function, humanity -based connotation and other aspects .Meanwhile, it also discusses its utilization in the language of slangs and riddles and points out its rhetoric functions as well as some attention tips when using the pun . |
