跨文化交际中语用失误的成因及改进对策

摘    要:语言是文化的载体,又是文化交流的工具。任何一种丰富的语言都蕴含丰富的文化知识,因此不同文化背景的人在进行言语交流时,即在跨文化交际中,由于彼此的思维方式、风俗习惯、价值观念、语境和本民族的历史背景等不同,往往会出现文化碰撞现象,人们会因误用语言或者不恰当地运用语言而使交际达不到预期效果,为了解决和避免跨文化交际中的语用失误,英语教师在英语教学实践中要向学生输入足够的跨文化知识及语用知识。

Abstract:Language is the carrier of culture as well as the tool of cultural exchange. Any language contains rich cultural knowledge. Therefore, the cultural conflicts often appear owing to the differences in thinking pattern, customs, value, context and historical back- ground when people communicate across culture. The incorrect use of language will make communication fail to get expected results. In order to avoid the pragmatic errors, English teachers should input enough cross - cultural knowledge and pragmatic knowledge to students in the English teaching practice.
