| 摘 要： | 英语习语渗透着浓郁的西方文化气息，展示出英语民族语言文化的发展和演变。归纳并分析了与冠帽、外套、鞋靴、衣袖、手套等与服饰相关英语习语的文化意义，学习这些英语习语的文化意义对加深了解西方文化以及提高跨文化语言交际能力有很大帮助。

| Abstract: | There are a number of English idioms, which have been widely accepted and used in daily life by the Westerners due to their vividness, humorousness and conciseness. Permeated with the style of western culture, the English idioms show the development and evolution of English language and culture. It is significant to sum up and analyze the English idioms that are related to clothing such as hat, coat, shoes, sleeve, glove, etc. |
