关于统战工作与和谐社会的若干思考

社会主义和谐社会,应该是民主法制、公平正义、诚信友爱、充满活力、安定有序、人与自然和谐相处的社会.统一战线它所体现和追求的也是一种和谐,在本质上与构建社会主义和谐社会是一致的.但是,在进入新世纪新阶段,我国迎来了难得的发展机遇,同时也存在许多制约甚至严重影响构建和谐社会的不利因素,龙岩市在推进海峡西岸经济区建设过程中,应充分发挥统一战线在协调关系、化解矛盾、维护政局的独特优势,为构建"和谐龙岩"积极建言献策,民主监督,参政议政和团结群众.

Thoughts on Unified Front and Harmonious Society

The socialist harmonious society is a society characterized with a democratic legal system,fairness and justice,honesty and love,vigor,order and harmony between human beings and nature.The unified front represents and seeks harmony as well and is in essence in agreement with building a harmonious society.In the new 21st century our country is faced with new development opportunities but there still exist many adverse factors which may hinder the construction of a harmonious society.In the construction of the Economic Zone west of Taiwan Straits,we should make full use of the unique advantages of unified front in coordinating,solving contradictions and maintaining stable political situation so as to offer advice to the construction of "harmonious Longyan",to participate in democratic supervision and political affairs and to unite the mass.
