和谐社会进程中地方高校社会服务职能的发挥

在全面贯彻落实党的十七大精神,着力构建社会主义和谐社会的时代背景下,地方高校要想进一步完善和拓展社会服务职能,就要统一思想,增强社会服务的自觉意识、主动意识和优质意识;要以发展的理念、改革的举措、创新的思维,提升社会服务的能力;要充分发挥人才优势、科研优势和文化优势,服务地方经济社会发展;要着眼长远,构建社会服务的宣传教育机制、激励引导机制、组织保障机制和理论研究机制.同时,地方高校在服务地方经济社会发展的实践中,还要体现区域性、突出互利性、坚持有限性.
