| Abstract: | The -3/ 2 power law of self-thinning had been one of the important research fields in plant population ecology from 1960's to 1980's. Although in many abroad reports it had been described as no generality and there is no evident at present for the -3/ 2 power law of self-thinning, but it is still cited as a general principle in many domestic reprots. According to the abroad reprots and analyses, it discuss the concept, equations, development and questions of the -3/ 2 power law of self-thinning. The attempt of this paper is to make these problems clear. |
