| Abstract: | The formation of the concept of "Chinese essence and Western means"is closely connected with the structure of culture,which is an inevitable result of the evolution of modern Chinese historty.It gives us a simple and clear theoretical framwork of our modern culture and it became one of the common features of all cultural schools during the Republic of China.It is the transitional pattern of the development from ancient Chinese culture to the fully modernizational Chinese culture. |
