| Abstract: | Benzyl acetate is synthesized by catalyzing the esterification of sodium acetate trihydrate and benzyl chloride in the presence of a phase transter catalyst at 105℃ to 110℃, giving a 65-90%. yield of the benzyl acetate, with its purity higher than 98%. |
