硬脂酸钠改性纳米氢氧化镁效果研究

摘    要:主要研究了采用硬脂酸钠对纳米氢氧化镁进行湿法表面改性的工艺过程,通过改性前后粉体的BET、沉降速度、吸油值和黏度等表面物化性能来评价纳米氢氧化镁的改性效果,同时将改性前后的粉体应用到软质PVC体系中,测定该体系的阻燃性能和机械力学性能。实验结果表明:改性后的纳米氢氧化镁粉体表面性质发生了明显变化,比表面积增大,亲油性和在有机相中的分散性明显提高;增强了与PVC之间的亲和力,改善了体系的阻燃性能和机械力学性能.

Abstract:The surface modification process of nano sized magnesium hydroxide (NSMH) by sodium stearate was investigated in this paper. The modified effects were evaluated by the surface properties such as measurement of the specific surface area, sedimentation speed, the oil absorbility and viscosity of the system, etc. The flame retardancy and mechanical properties were measured while NSMH was added into flexible PVC. The experimental results showed that obvious changes happened to surface properties of modified NSMH powers. Hydrophilicity, viscosity of the system and oil solubility decreased sharply. Dispersion properties in organic phase increased greatly. The flame retardancy and mechanical properties were also improved.
