| Abstract: | The ductile behaviour of confined R. C. bridge piers was inveshgated analytically. The paper contains the following items, namely, confinement effectiveness coefficient, constitutive relation of confined reinforced conrete and physical model of calculating coafinement ratio for given curvature yield ratio, etc. An approximate formula of confinement ratio is developed by regressing analysis. |
