| Abstract: | In this paper, the BEM using complex variable functions for two dimentional elastoplasticity with opening was developed. The complex variable boundary integration and all the basic relations in incremental form for elastoplasticity based on initial stress load incremental method were derived. Correspondent computer program was written and numerical examples were given.Compared with conventional BEM for the same problems, the method has the advantages of the unification of formulations, simplification and general purpose of computer program, and less CPU time with more accurate results, etc. Numerical examples show that BEM using complex variable functions is especially suitable and effective for nonlinear problems in which the iterative computations are necessary. |
