| Abstract: | On the base of the data from shanghai's equipment enterprises the indexes for success or failure of new products (ISFNP) have been analyzed. The following methods have been used, they are Factor Analysis, Discriminant Analysis, Analysis of Variance, F-test, t-test, and X~2-test. The data processing has been made on SUN-3 with softwarepackage SPSS-X. 19 ISFNP have been established. Then the relation between success or failure of new products and ISFNP is discussed. After analysis and discussion about the 19 ISFNP under the condition of selecting 5 factors, the discriminant functions of success or failure of new products have been established 96 samples of new products have been distinguished by means of these discriminant functions. |
