| Abstract: | Luo School is a school of thought started by CHENG Hao and CHENG Yi in Northern Song Dynasty and ZHU Xi epitomized this school of thought which became the official ideology of the late feudalist society and dominated for 800 years the field of thought in China. The doctrine of Luo School supported the monarch domination on one hand, but on the other hand it also limited the right and power of the monarch, and protested against the arbitrary dictatorship of rulers.So it was not purely to maintain feudalist dominance. |
