摘    要:推导了Wang氏表达式的均匀长度分阶(evenlengthorder,ELO)的模型化简公式。应用MatLab在时域和频域的仿真,对一个实际互连线的低阶ELO简化模型与其100阶模型(作为原始模型)进行了比较。比较指标有单位阶跃响应的上升时间、频域波特图的频率带宽、以及传递函数误差的H—inf范教。结果表明,采用传统ELO化简,10阶以下模型与原始模型相比有较大差异.通过应用ELO模型化简公式寻找优化RC参数,优化的ELO化简模型可使上述比较指标与原始模型的差异减到相当小的程度,单位阶跃响应和频率响应均有很大改善。

Abstract:A formula of the regular even length order (ELO) model reduction method in Wang's forms was derived. Simulations were executed and presented in both time and frequency domains by MatLab. The classical lower ELO reduction models of a practical interconnect case were compared with its 100th order model as original model. The indexes for approximation evaluation include the step response, the rising time, Bode plot, the band width, and the H-inf norm of the error over the whole frequency range. The results show that extremely high-order RC interconnects cannot be accurately approximated by a tenth or less ELO models. However, an RC parameter optimization process based on our formula for the optimal ELO reduction models can greatly improve the above indexes.
