Analysis of supply chain risk and cost with simulation methods

In global business,highly efficient supply chain is becoming more and more important for companies to gain competitive advantage.Most traditional researches focus on improving the efficiency of supply chain.However,due to uncertainty and arising of unexpected events,the supply chain suffers from systematical damage and risk.Therefore,the supply chain with great ability against risk is a great concern of company.At the same time,the supply chain with great ability against risk needs high cost. This paper explore how to make a balance between the ability against risk of supply chain and its cost, and a case study for a company is used to illustrate the flexibility of this method.
