ON EVOLUTIONS OF LUMINOSITY FUNCTIONS OF QUASI-STELLAR OBJECTS

In cases in which the zero pressure solution of Friedmann model is applicable, an expression Formula (1)] for expressing evolutions of the luminosity functions of various extragalactic objects can be obtained. In order to examine the evolutions of QSO's. lu- minosity functions in general, this expression has been used in the calculation for an in- complete sample selected from 5]. The results as shown in Figs. 1, 2 and 3 indicate that QSO's luminosity functions have their own evolutionary processes.
