| Abstract: | Based on shear test taken on 5 notched concrete beams,the authors analyse the force conditions of notched beam with stirrup land inquire into the principle of reinforcement in notched beam;and work out a formula for computing the limiting shear bearing capacity. The conclusion may serve as a reference for engineering design and the preparation of concrete design specifications. |
