论清末同乡会

学界对清末同乡会的研究,尽管取得了一定的进展,但缺乏对其的详细论述和整体研究。作为一个以地缘观念为基础的社会组织,清末同乡会在会员方面主要是由共同生活的进步同乡人士、管理人员和捐助经费的官绅士商等组成。为了维持同乡会的有效运转,各省同乡会几乎都在管理方面不断进行完善,内容涉及管理机构、选举方式和规则、会期和经费。清末政局风云变幻,寻求救国道路是整个社会有识之士的共同目标,从而使得这时的同乡会既具有自身互助、公益方面的功能,同时又以爱国为主要目的。

AN ANALYSIS OF HOMETOWN ASSOCIATIONS IN THE LATE QING DYNASTY

Although certain progress towards the hometown association in the late Qing Dynasty has obtained, Scholars lacked the de- tails and overall study on it. As a geographical concept based social organization, the hometown associations in the late Qing dynasty was mainly composed of progress fellow professionals, managers, donor funding officer and businessman. In order to maintain the effec- tive operation of the association, almost all the associations have been improved the management continuously, including the manage- ment institutions, manners and rules of election, duration and cost. The political in late Qing dynasty changes rapidly, seeking salva- tion road was the common goal of people with breadth vision of whole society, so that the associations not only had functions of mutual aid and charity, also kept patriotism as the main purpose.
