Abstract:In this paper, the new coprecipitation method of synthesis of barium titanate was described, in which TiCl4 and BaCl2*2H2O were used as starting materials and (NH4)2CO3 as precipitating agont. It was studied reaction conditions influencing on the quality of product. Product prepared was analyzed by chemical analysis, IR, SEM and X-ray, analysis result shows the purity of barium titanate powder prepared is high (>99.5%), particle diameter is small (<1μm)and the ratio of Ba to Ti is good(xBa/xTi=0.98~1.02).
