| Abstract: | The ancient libraries in Nanyang were originated in Song Dynasty,and developed slowly in Yuan Dynasty.In Ming and Qing periods,the official educatory function of the libraries have been gradually strengthened,till the late Qing Dynasty,the libraries have developed into a mixed institution of official schooling,library and feudalistic examination system,that is,a complete vassal of the imperial Keju examination system. |
