摘    要:为降低基于氟化聚酰亚胺AWG(Arrayed Waveguide Grating )波分复用器的损耗, 指导AWG器件的实验制备, 使其满足通信系统低损耗的需求, 分析了波导端口对氟化聚酰亚胺AWG波分复用器的性能影响, 并对器件的结构做出针对性的优化。进一步研究了阵列波导光栅输入/输出波导的衍射损耗、 阵列波导的衍射损耗以及衍射效率对器件衍射特性的影响。研究结果表明, 波导端口孔径的优化可使衍射效率提高到接近100%。

Abstract:In order to reduce the loss of fluorinated polyimide AWG (Arrayed Waveguide Grating) wavelength division multiplexer, guide the AWG experimentalpreparation, which can meet the demand of low loss communication system, a detailed analysis of influence of structural parameters on fluorinated polyimide AWGmultiplexer was done. Array aperture is an important design parameter of the phased array waveguide grating multi/demultiplexer. The transmission characteristics of a fluorizated polyimide AWG multiplexer are analyzed. The diffraction efficiency of the device in the I/O (Input and Output ) slab waveguides is calculated. The effects of some structural parameters including waveguide aperture on the transmission characteristics are investigated and discussed. The AWG structure parameters were optimized and the diffraction efficiency is about 100%.
