| Abstract: | In the paper a novel non-dispersive infrared CH 4 gas monitor is described. It is based on the principle that certain gases absorb IR radiation at specific (and often unique) wavelengths. It is a solid state, low-powered, compact and almost maintenance-free instrument with a high sensitivity and a high stability and without the effects of mechanical vibration. |
