从语用角度看英汉日常会话礼貌用语

文章从语用学的角度,结合一部分跨文化语言知识对英汉会话中的礼貌用语进行了分析,这些礼貌用语主要涉及对称赞的应答、请求、餐桌客套语、接受邀请、问候、挽留、称呼和道歉等八个方面。包括了两种语言文化中礼貌用语的共同点和不同点。文章在前人研究的基础上,对英汉日常会话的礼貌用语,从语用角度作个小结,旨在进一步理解为什么在特地场合,特定人群中要使用不同的礼貌用语,以期为英语学习者在跨文化学习中提供一定帮助。

Polite Expressions in Conversation both in Chinese and English from the Point of Pragmatics

This article analyzes polite expressions in conversation both in Chinese and English from the point of pragmatics.These polite expressions mainly contain reply to commendation,request,polite expression on dinner table,invitation,regards,leave-taking,addressing and apology,including similarities and differences between those two cultures.Based on the studies of other precedent researchers,this article makes a briefly summary of the polite expressions in Chinese and English,it aims to help further understand why people are required to use different polite expressions in different situations,and provide help for English learners in their Trans-Culture study.
